The ZUMBA Party! Chippendale, Erskineville, Newtown, Pyrmont, Rozelle, Ultimo - On Today Tonight 01/07/10

ARE YOU READY TO JOIN THE PARTY??

Check out what this Zumba craze is all about...I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

If you haven’t heard about Zumba before let me fill you in: Zumba is a fun, exciting fitness class based on simple Latin American dance moves.  It’s not a dance class, it’s not a gym class - it’s a party!  So it doesn’t matter if you cant dance, if you haven’t exercised in a while or if you think yourself completely uncoordinated - the emphasis is on having fun and Zumba is for everyone!  However, do come prepared to sweat - it’s an awesome workout!

Feel free to bring your friends and tell everyone you know to get down to the class!  The bigger the party - the better!

Let’s ZUMBA!! As feature on Today Tonight 01/07/10!!

Sydney Vegan Bake Sale, Newtown 26 June - Proceeds to A Poultry Place Bird Santuary

They're doing it again this month... The Sydney Vegan Bake Sale will be at the Newtown Square Markets (across the road from the train station, outside the Community Centre) on Saturday June 26 from 8am until 12 midday - yep, that's right, they're finishing earlier this month so make sure you drop by during the morning so you don't miss out!

There will be gluten free and sugar free options as well as savoury baked goods for anyone who's not into sweet treats!

All proceeds will be donated to A Poultry Place, a bird sanctuary in Canberra for neglected chickens, turkeys, ducks and other poultry.

Who is doing the baking?
A group of Sydney vegans who hold bake sales to raise money for animal-related charities. They started by participating in the first Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale and then realised what a great opportunity it was and have decided to continue their bake sales on a regular basis.

This is a great opportunity to taste some amazing food and support a great cause!  Get behind the Sydney Vegan Bake! And if you're still not sure check out some of the photos from the last one...:-)
